BELFAST PARADE
This morning, i was woken up by helicopters. Police helicopters. Part of the security array displayed all across city center to make sure the homecoming of a 250 British Army soldiers would happen without problems.
Those were the regiments of Her Royal Majesty who were in Afghanistan. Of course, British soldiers on the Irish soil is always a difficult issue to handle for the authorities and the occasion for a lot of troubles. However, everything went quite well. Sinn Fein organized counter-marches but police held them far from the soldiers parade to avoid any conflict.
Too many people to be free to get good pictures. That's all I got. For more about this : BBC Website
